Student-Led Conferences Family Information

Student-led Conferences (SLCs) are used in SECPSD to increase student responsibility for learning, to celebrate academic accomplishments, and to set goals for the remainder of the current term or semester. While students play the lead role in SLCs, parents/guardians and teachers participate in the conferences by actively listening, by asking clarifying questions, by understanding how they can effectively support, and by joining in on the celebration of student learning.

Families will book SLCs in Edsby, and attend them face-to-face. Please contact your school if you request a virtual option in Microsoft Teams. There is a video and manuals (linked on the right) to assist families in booking meetings in Edsby and accessing them through Teams, if needed.

There is also a link to the Edsby login page for those who have accessed Edsby already. If you have not previously logged into Edsby, you will need to follow the links emailed from your school.

If you wish an overview of all of Microsoft's free Office package for students, follow the relevant link.
