Build Math Into Your Child's Day

Studies show that a child’s math skills at kindergarten entry predict future academic success. As parents, we can give our kids a head start by helping them get comfortable with math concepts like measuring and counting at home.

 

Cook something together - I see that we need 2 cups of flour. Can you help me scoop two cups?

 

Build something together - How many feathers are you going to glue onto your picture? Do you have more than I do? Do you have less than I do?
