The Manor School Community Council organized a Christmas Store on December 15th at the Manor School gym. Families and community members donated new and used items for the store. Carlyle Home Hardware donated the wrapping paper and the tape for the event. Each student was given play money to use to buy gifts for their family members, friends and maybe even something for themselves. The SCC members were on site to help with the wrapping of the gifts as well. The high school students helped the elementary students with their shopping and their gift wrapping. All of the students enjoyed their time at the Christmas Store and were very excited and proud to be taking gifts home for their families. There will definitely be some surprises under the tree this year. We look forward to making this an annual event for our students as it was a great way to bring our community and our school family together. (Click the title to view more photos.)

Spruce Ridge hosted a fun-filled family event organized by the SCC on December 1 from 5:30-7:30 pm. Activities included street hockey and games in the gym with the Estevan Bruins and the Estevan Bears, Christmas craft-making, Christmas karaoke with the ECHS SRC, a glow Scavenger Hunt, and free hot chocolate courtesy of the Southern Plains Co-op. The Estevan Police Service was also there with a cruiser collecting gifts for needy children (the Angel Tree). Many, many Spruce Ridge families attended and everyone had a lot of fun!

On Friday December 2nd, students grades 1 to 11 from Carlyle Elementary School & Gordon F. Kells High School took part in the Missoula Theatre production of Hansel and Gretel. A job well done by all that took part.

The Estevan Comprehensive School French Immersion Education Physique class participated in Stick Mobility with Alex Galeth from Encompass Fitness in Estevan. Stick mobility is a system that improves one's flexibility, strength and coordination. Click the title to see a second picture.

Radville’s SCC showed their support by creating a bulletin board and handing out cupcakes to everyone that came out to support inclusivity in the School and Community.

The Legacy Park Performing Arts Club performed "Willy Wonka Jr"

The Rocanville Senior Girls Volleyball Team competed in provincial playoffs in Gull Lake and placed 3rd overall!
