Pangman School Celebrates $11,000 Grant & Student Book Shopping Experience

Thanks to an incredible $11,000 grant from the Indigo Love of Reading Foundation, students at Pangman School were given a truly meaningful opportunity to help build their classroom libraries.

Using a portion of the grant, three student “classroom library shoppers” visited Indigo and carefully selected 155 brand-new books for their own classrooms choosing titles that reflect their classes interests, learning needs, and reading levels. This hands-on experience empowered students to have a voice in what they read while helping create welcoming, engaging classroom libraries for everyone.

We are incredibly grateful to the Indigo Love of Reading Foundation for supporting literacy in our school and for making this special experience possible. Opportunities like this help spark a love of reading and ensure our students have access to books they are excited to explore.
