Student Convention held at Gladmar Regional School

On Thursday, May 5th, Gladmar Regional School students attended a Student Convention created just for them by their staff.  Students were handed lanyards with their names and selected schedules for the day from the staff, who greeted them at the door.

There were many sessions for students to attend, featuring members from their very own community and beyond.  It was an awesome day, filled with lots of drumming, karate kicks, decorated cupcakes, pour painting masterpieces, beautiful makeup, and Mother’s Day crafts.

They even did first aid and looked inside the ambulance, toured Axten Farms Seed Plant, programmed robots, learned about how to be smart with your money, and gained great tips of how to take amazing photos.

The SCC provided muffins and juice for nutrition breaks and the SUBWAY was amazing at lunch.  The presenters went above and beyond to make this day an amazing learning experience for each student.  This was sure to be one of those great school memories they keep with them forever.
