The SECPSD office (Weyburn) will be closed on the following holidays: July 1 (Canada Day), August 3 (Saskatchewan Day) and September 7 (Labour Day). It will also be closed on the following Fridays: July 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31. Other than this, from July 2 to August 24 business hours will be: 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon and 12:30-4:00 PM. Weyburn Comprehensive School Student Cole won bronze in junior boy's long jump at the track & field provincials on June 5 &6!

Gordon F. Kells student Dane won silver in senior boys shot put at provincials!

Congratulations to Rocanville School Grade 9 Student Russel who is a Tetrathlon Silver Medalist at SHSAA Provincial Track!

On June 5/6, four students from Gladmar Regional School participated in track and field provincials in Saskatoon. Sam competed in both shot put and discus, Lindsay competed in discus, Rachel competed in the 800m, and Leon competed in javelin. Everyone had a great day.

It was a remarkable day for Leon who threw a personal best of 42.48m, which was the best throw in the entire province, bringing home a gold medal and Gladmar's first track and field provincial championship banner ever! An amazing feat in grade 9! We couldn’t be prouder of him and all the athletes for representing GRS at the highest stage!

The Grade 9-12 students from Pangman School attended the Oil & Gas Show in Weyburn on June 4th. While there they attended a breakfast, listened to guest speaker: The Grizzly Dude and toured around to various vendors and business owners.

Arcola School students were proud to participate in A Climate Action Call from Canada’s Youth, a national climate leadership initiative involving 118 youth from across Canada. Greyson represented our school at a Writers’ Retreat in Ottawa last week, collaborating with youth delegates to refine a policy brief focused on building a just climate future.
On Friday, May 29, Greyson and fellow delegates presented the brief at the UNESCO Schools Network National Conference. The youth-led recommendations included increasing youth involvement in climate decision-making and expanding climate and sustainability education. We are proud of Greyson and all of the students who contributed to this important national project.
