Principal's Message

Happy Hallowe'en! We hope everyone enjoyed our Hallowe'en Carnival and that you had a fun-filled evening trick-or-treating. A special thank you to our SRC and Mrs. Thornton for organizing our Carnival. We wanted to thank Deanne Wanner and Stacy Kerslake for the generous donation of pumpkins for our elementary classrooms. Students were able to carve pumpkins and take them home.

We would like to invite you to our Remembrance Day Assembly on November 7 at 2:00 p.m. Each of the elementary classes and our school band will be performing. Out of respect, we ask that high school students with spares in period 4th and 5th make an effort to attend.

Grade 9 students will be partaking in "Take Your Kid to Work Day" on Wednesday, Nov. 6. Our students have eagerly arranged places of employment to 'try out' and see if it is something that piques their interest. Grades 10-12 students are attending the Estevan Comprehensive School's Career Fair on the morning of Thursday, Nov. 7th. Students have had an opportunity to pre-register for four sessions. We will be travelling by bus.

We wish our volleyball players and coaches heading to districts on Tuesday, November 12th the best of luck! Districts wraps up a very busy and successful volleyball season.

It is that time of year where teachers and students are busy finishing Term One. I would like you to remind students that any outstanding work should be handed in as soon as possible so that their report card truly reflects their learning thus far. Families are invited to attend our student-led conferences on the evenings of November 19-20th. Conferences will run from 3:30 until 7 p.m. Please see our website for our new online booking system.
