Dear Lampman School Community,
My name is Annmarie Rosner and I am so excited to introduce
myself as the 2018-19 principal of Lampman School. My passion for education and
supporting the success of all students has been shaped over the past 10 years
as I have embraced the role of teacher and administrator. It was during this
time, I also had the opportunity to complete my Masters in Education. In each
of my professional roles and educational experiences, I have sought to ensure
the success of each student, by providing both effective instructional
leadership and by seeking out new ways to promote a positive school culture.
An excellent education is not possible without the great
collaboration of students, staff, and parents. Over the coming weeks, I look
forward to getting to know some of Lampman School’s students, staff, and
parents as I attend the teacher professional development day on Monday, April
30 and the School Community Council meeting on Monday, May 7. To date, I have
had many preliminary conversations with Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Willock, and Mrs.
Sargent (Superintendent of South Schools) and one of the greatest takeaways
from these conversations have been the immense enthusiasm and pride for the
school and community. It is through that same enthusiasm and pride that I look
forward to becoming principal at your school and working alongside each of you
to continue the great success of Lampman School.
I look forward to the year ahead of us! Please do not hesitate
to reach out to me if you have any questions, concerns, and ideas that you
would like to discuss.
Have a wonderful summer and see you in September!
