LOCAL SCHOLARSHIPS & BURSARIES
1. Lampman Legion Bursary
A bursary valued at $250.00 annually. Conditions:
- Graduate from Lampman School who has achieved the highest academic standing.
- Student does not have to continue their formal education.
- No application is required.
- Lampman School Awards Committee will make final selection.
2. Lampman Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship
A scholarship valued at $300.00 annually. Conditions:
- Graduate from Lampman School who will go into training in the health care field which will require a minimum of two years of training.
- Complete application form and submit it to the Executive of the Lampman Hospital Auxiliary by June 30th of the initial year of training.
3. Lampman C.W.L. Scholarship
A scholarship valued at $100.00 annually. Conditions:
- Graduate from Lampman School who will pursue a career at a university.
- Bursary paid once CWL committee receives proof second year program registration.
- Complete application and return it to a member of the C.W.L. executive.
- Applicant must be of the Catholic faith.
- Applications must be submitted by June 30 of the initial year of training.
4. Moose Mountain Wildlife Scholarship
A scholarship valued at $500.00 is awarded annually to a student graduating from Lampman School. The recipient should have respect for the environment, wildlife and enjoy the outdoors.
5. Scott Bangsund Smiling Back Memorial Scholarship
A scholarship valued at $250.00 annually.
- In memory of Scott Bangsund, Jennie Taylor has created the" Smiling Back" Scholarship.
- Each member of the graduating class will write a letter of recommendation to Mrs. Dena Scott, describing the student in the class who has had the most positive impact on the class.

6. Blaine Bangsund Pay it Forward Memorial Scholarship
A scholarship valued at $250.00 annually.
-In memory of Blaine Bangsund, his parents have created the "Pay it Forward" Scholarship.
-Each member of the graduating class will choose a student in the grade 12 class who displays the most self-less
determination and considerations of others.

7. Colton Lee Wanner/Tyson John Geisel Memorial Scholarship
Presented annually.
- In memory of Colton Wanner and Tyson Geisel
- shows respect for all students, teachers, family members
- Shows strong community spirit, helps out when needed, shows as positive attitude towards themselves and others.
- -Sense of humour and a passion for outdoor activities.
8. Ron and Shirley Carson Family Scholarship
A bursary valued at $2000.00 annually. Conditions:
- Graduate from Lampman School who will attend a post-secondary institution full-time in the fall immediately following graduation.
- Maintain an average of 75% in grades 11 and 12
- Math 30 and Science 30 are not required
- Submit a personal letter outlining qualities, skills, and contributions
- Applicant must demonstrate a good attitude and be dedicated and hard-working
- Preference will be given to those who can demonstrate financial need
- Deadline is May 1

9. Lampman and District Lions Scholarship
A bursary valued at $1000 annually. Conditions:
- Graduate from Lampman School who will attend a post-secondary institution full-time in the fall immediately following graduation
- Maintain an average of 70% in grades 11 and 12
- Math 30 and Science 30 are not required
- Submit a personal letter outlining qualities, skills, and contributions
- Provide two reference letters verifying participation in leadership and school and community events and activities
- Deadline is May 1

Other Scholarships
1.
The Prince of Wales & Duchess of Cornwall
Scholarship assists Grade 11
students with completing their secondary education. A maximum of 20, $500 scholarships,
are awarded annually (fall of 2021 after confirmation of Grade 12
enrolment).
The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Scholarship assists Grade 12 students with completing their
post-secondary education. A maximum of six, $1000 scholarships,
are awarded annually (fall of 2021 after confirmation of acceptance to
a post-secondary institution).
Please distribute the attached poster to
students in Grades 11 and 12 and collect nominations. You can use the worksheet provided
on the website so each nominee can complete a portfolio to assist your
leadership team in making a final selection. From the group of nominees at your
school, please have your school leadership team choose one student per
scholarship to submit for nomination – please
use the on-line fillable form to submit your nomination form for each
scholarship. Please see nomination criteria, requirements,
nomination forms at www.communityeducation.ca scholarship link. This year’s scholarship application deadline is March
15, 2021.

3. The Happy Nun
Arts & Culture Award
$250. Available to all graduating students of
the Southeast Cornerstone School Division.
250-500 word essay style paragraph describing
the importance of Arts & Culture in Saskatchewan and how they impact you.
Min of 65 % average in senior level courses
Additional consideration will be given to
applicants currently involved in Arts programs; please specify any involvement.
Deadline: May 1
Top 3 applicants will be determined by
Management of The Happy Nun Cafe; final selection will be made by a third party
1 Award is presented in the
Southeast Cornerstone School Division. Please have all principals
